What we seek to do…
Our youth ministry goals include making space for God in the lives of youth, awakening their call as followers of Jesus Christ, forming their core identity as beloved children of God, and nurturing them in the life of the church and its mission. We see success in faithful response to their call, fruits of the Spirit, rich relationships with God and others and the world, seeing the church family as one where they belong and contribute, and delighting in the grace of God. Our adult mentors seek to support them, behold them as children of God, help them see their gifts, listen to them, be moved by their experiences, and respond to them with kindness. The church in turn will benefit from their gifts and be changed by the youth.
